About the Kathmandu Valley The Kathmandu Valley is located in the north east central region of Nepal. From ancient times to today it remains an important trading route from Tibet/China to India. The valley itself is the most populous in Nepal with a population of over 2.5 million people which continues to grow at a rate of 4 percent a year. These include the old royal capitals of Bhaktapur and Patan. The Kathmandu Valley is also noted for being origin point of the Newari people who still populate most of the valley. Day 1. Kathmandu By Flight NA
On arrival in Kathmandu, you are met by our representative and then transfer to Hotel, Check-In and relax. This afternoon, proceed for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City.
Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal’s traditional culture and arts. This is the place for rest, relaxation and easy-day sightseeing of historic and artistic temples and monuments, and mountain views. Kasthamandap the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka, , a name derived from the statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram, near the entrance of the palace. The Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the city. Along with these palaces, the square also surrounds quadrangles revealing courtyards and temples built back to as early as the Lichchhavi period in the third century.

Later, proceed to Thamel on the rickshaw, the best ways to explore Kathmandu and its little alleys with local residential areas and local markets. On arrival in Thamel, stroll through nearby markets, where you can admire the work of local Thangka painting. Thamel also acts as the pre-base camp for mountaineers. It boasts a wide range of mountaineering gear shops, foreign money exchange booths, mobile phone shops, pubs, clubs and nightlife, along with the numerous travel agents and guest houses.
This evening, enjoy the local Nepali cuisine in dinner while witnessing the local folk dance show.

Day 2. Kathmandu (Everest Experience Flight) and Sightseeing
This morning (weather permitting) you will enjoy one hour flight around Mt. Everest, the highest elevation on our globe at 29,029 ft. The breathtaking panoramic views throughout the trip offer unparalleled photo opportunities. Breakfast at your hotel

Next you will visit After breakfast, we begin the sightseeing tour of Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, Pashupatinath Temple is one of the four most important religious sites in Asia for devotees of Shiva. Built in the 5th century and later renovated by Malla kings, the site itself is said to have existed from the beginning of the millennium when a Shiva lingam was discovered here.

The largest temple complex in Nepal, it stretches on both sides of the Bagmati River which is considered holy by Hindus. The main pagoda style temple has a gilded roof, four sides covered in silver, and wood carvings of the finest quality. Temples dedicated to several other Hindu and Buddhist deities surround the temple of Pashupatinath.

BouddhanathStupa,whichis one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is known as Khasti in Nepal Bhasa, JyarungKhasyor in Tamang language or as Bauddha by speakers of Nepali.

Built sometime around the 14th century, the huge meditative monument is said to have been created just after the passing of the Buddha. The huge offering site quickly become a focal point of worship and offering in the area. The structure of the building consists of a giant dome, on the top which sits a Buddhist pyramid tower. All of this sits on top of huge steps shaped like mandalas themselves. Originally the stupa’s spot was on an important trade route which allowed for a steady stream of possible converts. Among the Nepalese in Kathmandu, the stupa is simply referred to as “ChortenChenpo” which translates to “Great Tower” or just “Great Stupa.” No matter what pilgrims called it, they flocked to the monument in droves
Swoyambhunath Stupa: It is the most ancient and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Its lofty white dome and glittering golden spire are  visible for many miles and from all sides of the valley. Historical records found on a stone inscription give evidence that the stupa was already an important  Buddhist pilgrimage destination by the 5th century AD. Swoyambhunath stupa is also called the `Monkey Temple’ because of the many  hundreds of monkeys who scamper about the temple at night after the pilgrims and priests have departed.

Day 3 Kathmandu to Panuati Drive about 2 hours
A two hour drive take to Panauti . Here you can see the 800 years hindu temple of statues of the Bishnu, the Sun God Surya and the Moon God Chandra . Along the river bank is an opportunity to visit the local Ghats (crematorium). Panauti has been totally restored by donations from France. A scenic drive of about 4 km takes you to khopasi and from Khopasi you will walk for about an hour up to the resort trough two beautiful and thrilling suspension bridge. OR you can directly transport to resort from Khopasi via resort jeep.
For those who like walking, a three-hour stroll through the paddy fields up to the resort can be arranged from Panauti

Day 4

This morning your tour begins by walking through the terraced fields until you reach Namo Buddha Stupa , one of the holy site for Buddhist in Nepal. It is believed that the ancient Buddha was born here as a Prince. From here you have wonderful views of Gauri Shankhar and many other magnificent Himalayas. Then return to the resort crossing the Roshi khola river via a suspension bridge. (5 hours walk) \

Day 5
Breakfast at the resort. Then hike towards a joint river where you will see a water mill and Ladkeshwor Temple situated inside the cave. Then walk forward to Nepane Village (Typical Tamang Village), after exploring the lifestyle of a typical Tamang community, move down to Ladku river and then back to the resort. Lunch at the resort. In the evening walk to Dada Gaun is very traditional and secluded from the modern world, here people and animals live together side by side. Dinner and overnight at resort.

Day 6
Early morning view of a Sunrise. Breakfast at the resort garden, then return towards Khopasi crossing a suspension bridge. You can also have a Sightseeing of Panauti on the way back to Kathmandu.
