Ghale Gaun, a village, little known, located in northern central Nepal, attracts those travelers who want to know the insights of the Gurung Culture in a full stretch. Side-by-side, its homestay trek is fascinating and amazing because of its location near the Lamjung Himal (6986m) which also acts as an add-on beauty to Ghale Gaun. The village is highly populated by the Gurung Community. Amongst them, some serve the British Army that the entire world knows. Accessible from Kathmandu, located at the distance of 205 km, Ghale Gaun is the vantage point for seeing the South Annapurna (7,219m), Annapurna II (7,937m), Himalchuli (7,893m), Mahhapuchhare (6,998m), Lamjung Himal (6986m), Buddha Himal (6,692m), and Manaslu (8,156m), the world’s eight highest peak. Besides this, Ghale Gaun is also about defined culture. Further, Ghale Gaun is also about snow-covered peaks, and it is also about traditions. Day 1 : Kathmandu arrival and transfer to hotel Day 1: Kathmandu By Flight NA
On arrival in Kathmandu, you are met by our representative and then transfer to Hotel, Check-In and relax. This afternoon, proceed for sightseeing tour of Kathmandu City.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: Kathmandu is the hub of Nepal’s traditional culture and arts. This is the place for rest, relaxation and easy-day sightseeing of historic and artistic temples and monuments, and mountain views. Kasthamandap the source of the name Kathmandu and supposed to be made from the timber of a single tree and the Durbar Square are with its array of temples overlooked by the Hanuman Dhoka, , a name derived from the statue of Hanuman, the monkey devotee of Lord Ram, near the entrance of the palace. The Kathmandu Durbar Square holds the palaces of the Malla and Shah Kings who ruled over the city. Along with these palaces, the square also surrounds quadrangles revealing courtyards and temples built back to as early as the Lichchhavi period in the third century.

Later, proceed to Thamel on the rickshaw, the best ways to explore Kathmandu and its little alleys with local residential areas and local markets. On arrival in Thamel, stroll through nearby markets, where you can admire the work of local Thangka painting. Thamel also acts as the pre-base camp for mountaineers. It boasts a wide range of mountaineering gear shops, foreign money exchange booths, mobile phone shops, pubs, clubs and nightlife, along with the numerous travel agents and guest houses. This evening, enjoy the local Nepali cuisine in dinner while witnessing the local folk dance show.

Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
After breakfast we visit Bhaktapur City with Pottery Square.

Bhaktapur: the city is also known, as like a museum of medieval art and architecture with many examples of sculpture, woodcarving and colossal pagoda temples consecrated to different gods and goddesses which is 15 km far from Kathmandu. It is a conglomeration of pagoda and Shikhar-style temples grouped around a fifty-five-window palace of brick and wood. The square is one of the most charming architectural showpieces of the Valley as it highlights the ancient arts of Nepal. The golden effigies of kings perched on the top of stone monoliths, the guardian deities looking out from their sanctuaries, the wood carvings in every place-struts, lintels, uprights, tympanums, gateways and windows-all seem to form a well-orchestrated symphony. Pottery and weaving are its major traditional industries.

If the sun is shining life in Baktapur’s pottery square is running at full blaze. The wide open brick courtyard will be awash with a mix of small grey and brownish red clay pots, all sectioned off depending on design or purpose. In among this maze of clay ware you’ll see a person tending to each pot much like a dedicated gardener might tend to their plants. Every pot is examined by hand before being turned to face the sun at new angle or dipped into a bucket of colored water.
Afternoon Visit to Boudhanath.
Boudhanath: One of the oldest and the biggest Buddhist monuments ever built in Nepal, Furthermore it is one of the holiest Buddhist sites in Kathmandu. Boudhanath is an imposing structure standing some 36 meters. The Stupa stands on the massive three level mandala style Platforms surrounded by colourful private family houses. Listed in the UNESCO World Heritage list this site is considered very much like Mecca for the Buddhists and every year tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the Himalayan region visit the stupa

Day 3: Drive to Bandipur Village 45 Kms / 2 Hours drive
Breakfast at Hotel in Kurintar. Later transfers by private vehicle to Bandipur Village.
Arrive at Bandipur & Check-in at Hotel. Later explore local area. Overnight at Hotel.
Bandipur was once a prosperous trading center, and its charming buildings, with their neoclassical facades and shuttered windows, bespeak its past glory. Originally a simple Magar village, it was settled in the early nineteenth century by Newars from Bhaktapur.

Day 4. Drive to Pokhara 65 Kms / 3 Hours drive
After breakfast at Hotel. Later drive to Pokhara. Arrive & Check-in at Hotel.

Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty situated at an altitude of 827m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley, the city is known as a center of adventure.It is one of the most popular tourist destinations inNepal, noted for its tranquil atmosphere and the beauty of the surrounding countryside. It is also a base for trekkers undertaking the Annapurna Circuit. The enchanting city has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panaromic views of Himalayan peaks. The serene of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. At evening; you will enjoy a free lake side walk or 01 Hour Boat Ride at Fhewa Lake.

Afternoon Devi’s fall: Locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell’s Fall), Devi’s fall (also known as Devin’s or David’s) is an awesome waterfall lying about 2 km south-west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen. An interesting modern legend says that a foreigner named David was skinny dipping in the Pardi Khola (river) when the floodgates of the dam were opened, sweeping him into an underground passage beneath the fall, never to be seen again.
Seti River Gorge: It is carved by Seti River and is one of the natural wonders of Pokhara. KI Singh Bridge at the Bagar, Mahendra Pool & Prithivi Highway Bridge near Bus Park provides a perfect view of the river’s dreadful rush and the deep gorge made by the turbulent flow of white water like milk.
Ghupteshwor Mahadev cave : It is probably the longest and attractive cave in south Asia which is located at the pristine location of northwestern part of Pokhara, a world famous tourist destination in Gandaki zone and Kaski district. Ancestors called this places as desolate Khatri Tara.
Mahendra cave: Mahendra Cave is a cave located in Pokhara-16, batulechaur, Kaski district, close to the Kali khola, is the large limestone cave. It is a rare example of a cave system in Nepal containing stalagmites and stalactites. The cave attracts thousands of tourists every year.

Day 5 : Drive to Thumsikot and trek to Nangidhar –
3 hrs drive & 4 hrs walk After hot breakfast, we take about 3 hours off road drive to Thumsikot from Pokhara city. Three hours drive feels you thrill which goes through the rough road and get to see mesmerizing Begnas Lake. And then, we starts about 4 hours hike for Nangidhar. It is a beautiful Gurung village situated at an altitude of 1920m. Overnight at lodge with full board meals.

Day 6 : Hike from Nangidhar to Pasgaun – 5 hrs walk After the breakfast, our hike extends several hour straight trail which passes through eye-catching waterfalls, beautiful landscapes and the jungle. After three hours walk from Nangidhar, We take our lunch at Bagaicha. Our trek continuously goes to Pasgaun. Overnight at local house inclusive full board meals.

Day 7 : Hike from Pasgaun to Ghale Gaun –
6/7 hrs walk Today is a bit long hiking day then the before days. Our hike starts with about 3 hours descending and then 2 hours more ascend. We take our lunch at Bhujung. Bhujung is a compact and a densely populated village looks really attractive from little down and on its way to the village. Walk a head up to Ghale gaun, which is our main destination of the trip. Stay overnight at local home inclusive bed and breakfast.

Day 8 : Hike from Ghale gaun to Besisahar –
4/5 hrs walk After breakfast, we walk almost descend trail to Khudi about 3 hours where we take our lunch and then our trek goes one and half hour more to Besisahar. Overnight at lodge inclusive full board meals. PS : We can directly take a drive to Kathmandu from Ghale Gaun which takes about 9 hours drive.

Day 9 : Drive back to Kathmandu –
5 hrs drive Today is a last day of our trip, we take a surface transportation from Besisahar to Kathmandu. It is about 5 hours drive (185km) from Besisahar. During our ride we can observe the natural beauty and people’s lifestyle along the bank of Tirshuli river. Overnight at hotel inclusive bed and breakfast.

Day 10 : Departure day
Today is your departure day, we will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and pray for your Safe journey.
